Interim & Fractional CFO

Leading finance teams across borders – from carve-out to integration.

When finance needs to work across borders – during a carve-out, an integration or a leadership gap – that is where I step in.

Where I step in

Three situations in which the numbers have to speak one language – across countries, teams and stakeholders.

Carve-outs & integrations

A unit changes hands – or becomes a company of its own.

Entity, team, structures and reporting have to work on day one, built to the standards of the new owner: one set of numbers, one ERP, one way of closing the books – across countries and cultures.

Leadership gaps

The CFO seat is empty at the wrong moment.

Succession, sudden departure, a role that has outgrown its holder. I step in, run the finance function and hand over a working organisation to the successor – whether that takes four months or fourteen.

Transformation & next stage

The finance function has to grow into what the business has become.

ERP change, shared service centre, digitalisation, preparing for investors or an IPO: structures and teams that carry the next stage – without losing the people.

How I work

A fresh and neutral perspective. Human and pragmatic. Keep it simple.

Fresh and neutral perspective

I come from outside, with no history in the building and no stake in yesterday's decisions. That is what makes the numbers, the processes and the team structures transparent again.

Human and pragmatic

I have built and led teams of 10+ nationalities in three countries – hands-on, without politics, and with a clear view of what each team can carry.

Keep it simple

I run the finance function before I improve it. Then I streamline: reports no one reads, approvals no one needs, meetings that decide nothing.
